BIO
Recording Artist Liorah LEV is a musical force committed to aligning with consciousness and light. Her stage name fuses her identity with her vision. Liorah LEV translates to "I have Light - Lifting Every Voice".

A singer-songwriter-producer hailing from the 3-0-5, Miami, Florida, Lindsay "Liorah LEV" Levy showcases how extraordinary talent, nurtured in a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural background, can transcend musical genres when it aligns with consciousness and light. Her stage name fuses her identity with her vision.

Liorah LEV translates to "I have Light — Lifting Every Voice".

American by birth, Liorah was born into a family of accomplished Jamaican and English musicians, perhaps the most famous being season five's winner of The Voice, Tessanne Chin. Liorah's style is an eclectic mix of Electronic, Pop, R&B, and Reggae, often infused with an improvisational jazz flair. She credits time spent with her late stepfather, listening to his extensive contemporary jazz collection and informed commentary, for her unwavering interest in and mastery of the alto saxophone, as well as her special love for that genre. Her voice is distinctive with a mellifluous quality and sensitivity that resonates in your soul. No auto-tunes required.

Sia, Paramore, Norah Jones, and the late Amy Winehouse could be heard in the undertones of Liorah’s early musical style. But studying abroad for a year in Valencia, Spain, and traveling through Europe have now infused distinct and diverse elements of these cultures into her music. She is inspired by the rich cultural heritage that encourages artistry and music to spill over into the streets of European cities like Barcelona and Venice.

Liorah believes that, regardless of culture, ethnicity, gender, religion, or geography; whether introverted or extroverted; we speak a common language; a single bond unites our souls: MUSIC.

Liorah has several gigs under her belt, most memorably at Upper Club and La Fabrica de Hielo in Valencia. Her participation in an exciting, impromptu, Christmas performance outside the world-famous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele IIin in Milan, Italy, in 2017 remains one of her fondest memories. It was where she was first asked for her autograph.

Liorah is a consummate and professional performer who studied her craft at Berklee College of Music in Boston, graduating magna cum laude in May 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Professional Music with concentrations  in Music Business, Performance, and Music Production.

This native Floridian who grew up on South Beach weather enjoys kickboxing and teaching herself to play as many instruments as draws her fancy and inspires songwriting and original beats.

Liorah LEV's first EP — I AM LEV — launched on November 19, 2021. It features her debut EDM single, "Taking Over," her second release,  "Let Go," as well as "Nerve," a roots reggae "chune" that gives a hat-tip to her Jamaican roots. Her soulful jazz-inspired cover of "September," an Earth Wind and Fire classic, melds her saxophone skills and love for the 70s and jazz genres.

IN  HER WORDS

This, my dear, is the greatest challenge of being alive —
To witness the injustice of this world and not allow it to consume our light."
