Don't Die with Your Song Still Inside You

One of the best pieces of advice I've heard is from comedian Jim Carey. It came exactly when I needed to hear it:

"You can fail at what you DON'T love, so you may as well DO what you love. There's really no choice to be made...So many of us choose our path out of fear disguised as practicality....Life doesn't happen to you; it happens for you."

The journey to here - releasing my debut single, TAKING OVER, has been filled with up and downs. But one thing I've learned about myself is that I'm not a quitter. And I'll be damned if the music that lives inside me will stay there. TAKING OVER is a kind of anthem for me - to quiet the fears and anxiety and trust the process.
